This Xetex project features a custom Dedicated Outdoor Air System (DOAS) with 120 tons of cooling for a fragrance manufacturing application.
Although the custom DOAS did not handle caustic substances, the customer placed great importance on proper handling of fumes. Addressing this concern, an aluminum flat plate heat exchanger was chosen for its minimal EATR leakage. The unit also utilizes filtration throughout to remove particulates at the OA, RA, and SA streams.
Additionally, a specialized control sequence was implemented to maintain a negative pressure differential on the exhaust side of 1.5”w.c. below that of the supply side, ensuring optimal performance.
Unit startup was provided by a factory-certified technician to ensure correct operation.
